Founder, Ghostly Tales Show

Some writers invent the unknown. Nonny Mendoza documents it.

A U.S. Navy veteran and published author, Nonny has spent years gathering true paranormal encounters from real people: shadow figures, demonic visitations, Black Eyed Kids, Dogman sightings, Jinn encounters, and the quiet horror of Ouija boards that answered back. Her Ghostly Tales series exists because these stories deserve to be preserved, not dismissed. Each volume is a curated archive of accounts that defy easy explanation.

But Nonny's work doesn't stop at the strange. She writes emotionally raw, true-based stories that live at the intersection of grief, love, and the question that haunts us all: what continues after loss? Her debut, Awaken the Dreamer, was born from personal spiritual awakening, an exploration of consciousness, awareness, and the deeper architecture of the self.

Her fiction ventures further still, into fantasy worlds built on metaphysical law, where the seen and unseen negotiate the rules of reality. Whether she is writing a documented account of something that should not exist, a story anchored in lived emotional truth, or a fantasy where the veil between worlds is tissue-thin, the throughline is always the same: the belief that there is more to this life than what we can measure.

Nonny writes from Lake Elsinore, California, where the desert meets the haunted and the horizon always looks like something is about to cross it.
